This optometrist eye chart inspired de-sign doubles as a make shift sobriety test. If you hold the bottle at arm’s length and you can still read the bot-tom line you can have another glass. (This statement is of humorous nature and not to be considered a test of blood alcohol for the purpose of driving a vehicle, working machinery or constructing flat pack furniture.)

THE NAME
The name ‘Stump Jump’ pays homage to a significant South Australian invention – the Stump Jump plough. It was adopted worldwide in the late 19th century because of its ability to ride over stumps and gnarled roots, saving time and energy.

THE WINE
The nose is full of juicy red fruits and fresh plums mixed with dark cherry, rhubarb and cardamom. On the palate there are notes of red berries, mulberry and a hint of pomegranate. Underlying the generous fruit is a more subtle layer of plum stone, star anise and cinnamon. The soft tannins provide a gentle finish.
